DIY Press Brake Bender 8in (STL Download)

3D Print your own sheet metal bender with this 8 inch wide Press Brake Bender.
Three different size upper and lower tools are included for a variety of bend radii. The upper and lower tools can be mixed and matched for tighter bends or stronger tools. In general, a larger upper bend radius and wider lower tool will be stronger and more suitable for thicker materials.
This tool can bend short sections of 1/8” thick aluminum and steel when printed with Tough PLA+ and 100% infill.
This 9-Piece Download Includes:
3x Upper Tool Radii: 1/16”, 1/8”, and ¼”
3x Lower Tool Widths: 1”, 1.25”, and 1.5”
2x 3D Printable Guide Rods: Loose and Tight Fitting
1x Wedge (For shimming a floating upper press bar)
Required Print Bed Size: 220mm x 220mm or larger.
Upper pocket diameter: 1.6 inch
The two ½” diameter guide rods can be steel rods from the hardware store or 3D printed with the included files.
For hydraulic presses that have a floating top beam like the Harbor Freight press shown in the photos, a Wedge model is provided to shim the gap around the sliding beam so that the beam does not shift side to side and potentially buckle the bending tool when under pressure.
